The NEW ESKA "Fabric" firefighting glove is a lightweight, fire resistant Kermel material that does not retain water and dries faster than leather. The specially treated leather is waterproof, non-flammable, non-shrinking and oil and acid resistant. A wide heat pad and retro-reflective flame-resistant 3M Scotchlite trim are added for high visibility. * ERGONOMIC PATTERN: The glove features the same "resting position" as the hand (i.e. slightly bent-vaulted) * THREE-DIMENSIONAL CONSTRUCTION: The pattern is constructed of four parts, making it 3-D, just like the human hand. (most gloves are made as two parts). Extensive reinforcement for greater durability. Also ideally suited for technical applications. Anti-Slip and wear-resistant palm reinforcement made of soft silicone-carbon coated Kevlar. Standards are even higher than that of the NFPA The ESKA gloves will not harden or shrink after being exposed to water, direct flame or chemicals. Kevlar/Silver blend liner provides heat and cut protection and is also anti-odor, anti-fungal, anti-static and thermo dynamic. CROSSTECH membrane blocks blood borne pathogens, fluids, chemicals and water. 3-dimensional glove pattern follows the natural curve of your hand to provide greater dexterity, fingertip tactility and overall comfort.
